I don't just lead engineers.
I build with them.

Most engineering leaders stop writing code when they reach Director level. I never did. Throughout my career I have personally architected and built the platforms I've led — from enterprise integration middleware to AI-native commerce systems, I own the design, the decisions, and the implementation.

I specialize in the hardest problems: making complex systems feel simple, integrating AI in ways that enhance rather than complicate the user experience, and building the foundational architecture that everything else depends on.

Currently, I am building USA Jewels — an AI-first commerce platform I have personally engineered for 15 years, now powered by OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Llama LLMs. I accelerate my own development using Claude Code for agentic coding workflows.

  • Pioneered iWay ESB as an agentic AI platform — among the earliest enterprise MCP (Model Context Protocol) server implementations, enabling LLM-powered agents to autonomously discover and invoke enterprise workflows
  • Personally designed iWay Control Plane — unified observability across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises
  • Owned full technical stack: roadmap, architecture, implementation, and customer use cases

Senior Director, Engineering & Product Management

  • Built one of the first ETL tools on the market in the late 1990s, competing directly with Informatica — rescued the failed product line in 4 months, then rewrote it so compellingly the company repurposed it into iWay Service Manager, a $30M enterprise integration platform
  • Original architect of both Data Migrator (ETL platform) and iWay Service Manager (enterprise integration) — two separate $30M+ product lines built from the same foundational vision
  • Launched IoT Analytics from $3.5M to $25M ARR (150%+ CAGR); achieved #1 Dresner ranking above SAP and Tableau
  • Delivered first BI natural language interface (2017) and Amazon Alexa BI integration (2015)
